Witch-Haven Romance Shorts

Love Drunk (Witch-Haven Romance, Book One)

Janet Jones has not been in Witch-Haven long, but she knows enough. There are witches, fairies, werewolves, but no vampires yet. And they outnumber humans five to one. Another thing she knows is that there is a Halloween party, and everyone is invited, including Chris Warren - the guy she has a crush on... if only he hadn't talked to the bad boys who like to spike the girls' drinks with love potions. What's a girl to do?

Love Drunk is the first short-story in the Witch-Haven Romance series, presenting the history of Witch-Haven through the eyes of its ancestors, and how these magical and marvellous individuals tackled death, dares, dreams and disaster with the greatest power on Earth: Love.

Review:

A blast from Witch-Haven past. We've seen the teenagers at work, now we get to see their parents! Not just their parents, but 'back in the day', with 80s hair and sparkle. A magical addition to the Witch-Haven universe, this short story deepens the history and the mystery of the wondrous town readers have come to know as Witch-Haven. With a Halloween party promising more than just glow in the dark drinks and potions that allow others to share your thoughts, this tale of romance under pressure really gets to the heart of what makes a relationship magical and made even more relatable by including the 'to-be' Warren family. The weaving of future plotlines (for those of you who have read the books) has been done seamlessly, but the story still makes sense if readers are unaware of Witch-Haven delicacies and disasters, mostly thanks to the great characters and intriguing (though simple) plot.

A great story to read as an addition to the novels or suitable to read as a stand alone. The story is magical either way.
